Day 13 - Greenbrier, TN

Don't ever play Loudhouse Coffee if you can help it!!! They rip off bands, don't promote and charge was to much at the door. You will play in front of no one. It was cool to play with Across Tundras, they were amazing, but that is it.

Day 12 - Jacksonville, FL

Jacksonville was a good time. We played a DIY storage/practice space near the water. Our friend Rob of Dark Castle showed up to the show to hang out, which was cool. Thanks to Sam from Ives for putting on a good show. Found this long dead bird in the radiator as well.... metal!

Day 11 - Miami, FL

Miami was interesting, we saw a cop getting a blow job outside the venue when we first arrived. We had some delicious specialty style hot dogs. The show was Ok, although we were paid the most we where paid all tour. Collapsar was tough as nails.

We drove up to my Uncles in Roseland that night and had some beers and some spicy chilly. The next day we picked Oranges from his tree, not looking forward to the cold weather that was lying ahead.

Day 10 - Gainsville, FL

First show where I literally sweat my ass off. The Wayward Council was cool record shop/venue. It's nice to see people in the scene trying to keep DIY alive. The show was good, Hot Graves and Liturgy were great.

Day 9 - New Orleans, LA

Hit New Orleans around 2pm, which was a bad idea. The rest of the crew hit Bourben St., but I stayed behind in the van typing reviews. Which meant I had to try and find their drunk asses somewhere in the French Square. When I found them they where watching some street performers break dancing. We hit the filthy streets again for a little while before going back to the venue. Bourben St. is kind of like Disney Land for adults, overpriced and smells like piss. Also Po-Boy's suck.

The show at the Hi-Ho Lounge was awesome. High Priest played a great set. After the show we hit the road for Florida.

Day 8 - Baton Rouge, LA

Baton Rouge was awesome. The venue was a show space inside a thrift store called Here Today Gone Tomorrow. The kids that ran the space were awesome and supported us, we thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.

Day 7 - Austin, TX

Austin wasn't the greatest show. The promoter was really nice and took care of us, but it just wasn't our crowd. Although some crusty girl bought a tape from us, so that was cool. What was really awesome was hooking up with Brian at Kaosradioaustin.org. We spun some records and had a lot of fun. You can steam and download the show here. Also we found out that Eric and myself' old band Downpour used to play shows with Brian's old band Gutbucket back in Iowa in the mid 90's. Man I ama old.
